This is an application which has been developed specifically for our 3XS system customers in mind. This allows our engineers to interact directly with Windows Desktop using remote access technology. The application also gives you the options to:

Perform one to one chat

File transfers to and from the 3XS system directly with our systems.

This will allow us to perform updates and fixes and check for any issues which may show themselves. It will also allow us to configure the system to get the best performance from Windows.

Process

Firstly contact our support engineers via phone to setup the virtual engineer.

Our engineers will then give you a specific code to allow run the software.

Now follow the steps below to run the software to connect to our Remote Access Server.

Once the software is running and you have allowed access through your firewall software that should be it. We can take access control over the system and examine any windows issues you may have or perform any necessary updates you require.

In regards to any onsite or a system being return to base, we are not responsible for loss of content or data on the system. It will be up to the customer to make sure they have backups of their data. We are not responsible for third party software which is installed on the pc; please ref to Part II sections G, H of the terms and conditions.
Our onsite policy; Onsite(s) can occur within a 1 – 2 day turnaround depending on location. This does not include Saturday or Sundays. The onsite policy only covers the mainland UK. All onsites are performed by a separate company affiliated with Scan, the engineers will only perform hardware replacement and do not deal with software related issues. This does not apply to our water cooling range of systems as these will be only return to base and our server range which is covered under a different warranty.
