| This is an application which has been developed specifically with our 3XS system customers in mind. This allows our engineers to interact directly with Windows desktop using remote access technology. | |
| Aim | |
| Our aim is to quickly resolve the issues which may occur within Windows and reduce the amount of downtime to the user. In regards to PC’s nowadays, downtime can cost money and in developing this software it will help us to resolve those issues quickly and efficiently. While using the Virtual Engineer we can examine the system and perform further checks on drivers, software and go through updates and possibly weaknesses which may leave Windows open to malicious software attacks. We can also check for conflicts and any reported errors which Windows logs and resolve these issues on screen. | |

appear as a small icon in the system tray called Virtual Engineer. This
will give us the connection from 3XS server to the user. The application also allows us to: |

Perform one to one chat via built in instant messenger |

File transfer to and from the user’s 3XS system directly with our Remote Server. |

Firstly contact our 3XS System support engineers via phone to setup the virtual engineer. |

The engineer will go through process to access the software and explain how this works and how to run the software. |
|
Once our remote server has established a connection we can then take control and examine your pc remotely. |
The Virtual Engineer has been
tested across Windows 2000, XP, Media Centre and is now Vista Ready.
